Where are you located?
Durras North is 15-20 minutes north of Batemans Bay and 35 minutes south of Ulladulla on the south coast of NSW. Our address is: 62 North Durras Road, Durras North, NSW
Are you pet friendly?
No, pets are not allowed at Joalah Holiday Park.
Do you have caravan/camp sites?
No, we only have cabin accommodation.
What are your office hours?
Our office is open between 8:30am and 6:00pm 7 days. We are closed on Christmas Day.
What time is check-in?
Cabin check-ins are from 2:00pm
What time is check-out?
Check-out time is 10:00am
When is peak season?
Our peak season rates occur over the 4 days of Easter and the Christmas school holidays. All other times are at off peak rates although minimum night stays may apply
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. For off peak a 1 night deposit is required for bookings up to 7 nights, 30% deposit for 8 nights or more. Easter bookings require a 50% deposit. Christmas school holidays require 30% upon booking, a further deposit mid year and final payment due by 1st December
What if I need to cancel?
All deposits are non-refundable. Peak season, long weekend and school holiday deposits are non-transferrable. At other times of the year, your deposit may be transferrable. Please contact us to discuss
Do we need to bring linen?
Yes, you will need to bring top and bottom sheets, pillowcases and towels. Velux thermal blankets are supplied in all cabins
What else do I need to bring?
Your cabin is fully equipped with cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils. You will need to bring all food, drinks, condiments etc.
Do you allow early check-ins/late check-outs?
Early check-ins and late check-outs are based on availability and charges may apply. Please contact us to discuss. Unfortunately, neither is possible during peak season.
Can I arrive after hours?
Yes! Please contact us prior to your booking to organize access to your cabin.
How far are you from the beach?
Our park is located right on the mouth of Durras Lake as it leads into the ocean (when the lake is open to the sea.) The lake is a 50m walk from our cabins with the beach a further 100m
Do you have a shop or restaurant on site?
No. There is a small convenience store/cafe directly across the road from our park, although opening hours do vary by season and days of the week.
Where are the closest shops and restaurants?
Batemans Bay is a short 15-20 minute drive from us which has a variety of restaurants, major supermarkets and specialty stores.
Do the cabins have BBQs?
Each cabin has an individual woodfire BBQ. Firewood can be purchased from the office. Waterfront Executive cabins also have a gas BBQ.
Do you have carparking available?
Each cabin has its own driveway directly beside the cabin. Most of these are long enough to cater for two small cars or a car and small boat.
Do you have laundry facilities?
Yes, we have a shared laundry facility with washers and dryers. One wash takes 3 x $1 coins with laundry detergent available for purchase from the office. Dryers take 1 x $1 coin for 15 minutes dry time.
Do you have WiFi?
No, although there is good network coverage for all service providers so mobile data can be used.
Do you have after hours assistance?
Call us on (02) 4478 6012 at any time. After hours this will revert to a voicemail message. Please leave your details and any assistance you require and we will return your call right away.
Where can I give feedback?
If you have any issues during your stay please let us know straight away so we can make your holiday as enjoyable as possible!
