Joalah Holiday Park is located in beautiful North Durras a coastal town on the South Coast of New South Wales. Situated between Durras Lake and Durras Beach and 25 minutes North of Batemans Bay.

Fishing

Durras Lake offers good breeding grounds for fish, like dusky flathead, bream, blackfish and garfish, as well as crabs and prawns. While Durras Beach gives you the opportunity to catch whiting and bream in season, sand flathead, and salmon.

Murramarang National Park

The shores of Durras Lake and North Durras village are bordered by Murramarang National Park. The Park is home to many exotic plants and animals. You can also see kangaroos, possums, bandicoots, echidnas, and a vast variety of birdlife.

Bushwalking

From Joalah Holiday Park there are many bushwalks where you can discover a range of landscapes and natural treasures. Discover secluded beaches, explore rock terrain, experience the serenity of Durras Lake and observe the beauty of the forest.

Canoeing

Spend time on pristine Durras Lake canoeing and observe the activity below and above water. Joalah Holiday Park has canoes for hire on half and full day basis with life jackets also available.

Birdwatching

South Durras is a wonderful spot for birdwatching. Spend the day looking for different types of sea, shore, estuary, lake and forest bird species, some of which are very rare.

Swimming

The northern end of the Durras Beach is known as 'calm corner' while halfway up the beach is great for surfing. Durras Lake is directly in front of our park and is great for a quick dip, canoeing and stand up paddle boarding.

Mon – Fri 8.30am – 4pm
Sat – Sun – 9am – 3pm

Check in is at 2pm and check out is at 10am.

No problems! We understand that sometimes things don’t always go to plan. If you’ll be arriving after-hours, please contact reception beforehand so that they can make arrangements for you.

Unfortunately we do not allow pets at Joalah Holiday Park.

We now provide a full linen service – so all you need to bring is yourselves!

Batemans Bay is a short 20 minute drive from us which has a variety of restaurants, major supermarkets and specialty stores.

Each cabin has an individual woodfire BBQs. Firewood can be purchased from the office. Waterfront Executive cabins also have a gas BBQ.

Each cabin has its own driveway directly beside the cabin. Most of these are long enough to cater for two small cars or a car and small boat.

Yes, we have a shared laundry facilities with coin operated washers and dryers.

You can view a copy of our guest information and park rules here. If you would like a hard copy of these, please ask our friendly staff at reception.

We offer complimentary WiFi, currently only available in select areas throughout our park. For optimal connectivity, we recommend utilising it near our reception and tennis court facilities.
